  1. David J. West says:

I like it-there is a sense of action on the border about to happen. Crystal Sword and the Thorn itself intrigue me. Looking forward to the book.

  2. Graham Chops says:

Looks good, dude. I'd be psyched. It has a solid fantasy-feel to it, like the Wheel of Time or Runelords covers.

  3. Sharon Cohen says:

That is a very provacative and captivating cover, Daron. I, too, am now curious about the crystal sword. The three (?) moons in the sky also catch my attention. The artist deserves your praise.

  4. L.T. Elliot says:

    Congratulations, Daron!

  5. Danyelle Ferguson says:

Congrats on the cover, Daron! I like how he put the three moons on the book cover. I also like how he depicted the sword & scroll. I was surprised that it was so cartoony though. I didn't picture your book as a YA. Is that who it's going to be marketed to?

  6. Weston Elliott says:

Freakin' awesome!! Way to go, Daron and Cash!

  7. Nichole Giles says:

Nice cover. Cash did a great job. Congratulations! Can't wait to see the actual book.

  8. Ronda Hinrichsen says:

I think it's great, too. I don't know anything about your book, but my first thought was it was a heroic, fictional Book of Mormon story. It reminded me of the Living Scriptures animation. I'm assuming it's a story YA will like?

Awesome! It looks great. Thanks for sharing.

It looks amazing. I am so happy that you are showing your children, that no matter where we are in life, we can still achieve our dreams. The artwork is amazing. Are you planning a book signing in IN? I want in. I am going to get a copy for my nephew, he will love it.

  18. Daron D. Fraley says:

Thank you all for your comments. To answer some questions:

Danyelle: I didn't think it looked cartoony, but definitely YA or Fantasy like Graham said. I hope it will catch the eye of youth.

Ronda: Although not originally written for the YA readership, that group will probably still enjoy it. The story is clean (no sex/profanity).

Jennifer: I certainly hope to do a signing in Indy! I will let you know what I can get arranged.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
